HMCS VIMY

The History of HMCS VIMY

The Toronto-built Vimy was in commission from November 13, 1917 to November 30, 1918, seeing even less service than the dates would indicate. In 1922 she was transferred to the Department of Marine and Fisheries for conversion, and eventually known as Lightship No. 5. She is thought to have been broken up about 1958.
