"This Officer, who is now serving in the Royal Canadian Naval Hospital at HMCS St. Hyacinthe, gave excellent nursing care in the casualty wards to burn cases and survivor patients over a long period. By her cheerful and optimistic disposition, she showed a marked ability in building up a high state of morale among, and inspiring confidence in, those patients who were often required to make difficult adjustments due to physical disabilities and the memory of harrowing experiences."
