The History of HMCS MESSINES

Launched at Toronto on June 16, 1917 along with three sisters, Messines began a short commission on November 13, and in 1920 was handed over to the Department of Marine and Fisheries to become a lightship. Eventually designated Lightship No. 3, she was scrapped in 1962.
