"Leading Signalman Walberg has served continuously in the North Atlantic for the past three years. During this time, he has been frequently commended by Masters of Merchant Ships, in which he has served, for his wholehearted devotion to duty and marked efficiency. His conduct has at all times been in keeping with the traditions of the Canadian Naval Service and for this he is worthy of high merit."
